Ngurrara Indigenous Protected Area Program Coordinator

The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with the Ngurrara Ranger Team and the Ngurrara Traditional Owner group to ensure the effective management of Ngurrara country, consistent with customary law and the Ngurrara Healthy Country Plan.

This role will oversee the implementation of the Ngurrara Healthy Country Plan through strategic coordination with the Ngurrara IPA Steering Committee, Ngurrara Rangers, and project partners.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Coordinating the Ngurrara Land Management program.
  • Supporting the activities of the Men's and Women's Ranger programs.
  • Providing on-the-ground support and coordination of activities in the annual work plan.
  • Overseeing the collection and secure storage of traditional knowledge.
  • Ensuring financial management and oversight of budgets and submission of program reports.
