Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Professional to join our client's team in the beautiful Northern Rivers region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • HACCP Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure HACCP compliance across all sites.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate customer and supplier food safety and quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Audit Conduct: Conduct internal and external audits as directed by management.
  • Staff Training: Ensure all staff are trained to meet quality standards and compliance goals.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical on-site support and handle customer requests promptly.
  • CAPA Management: Coordinate all CAPA responsibilities to ensure timely resolution of non-conformities.
  • QMS Management: Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet the requirements of BRC, Coles, SQF, Halal, Aldi standards.
  • Regulatory Updates: Keep abreast of regulatory and industry trends and standards to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Possess appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Have at least 5 years of QA experience working in food manufacturing or processing.
  • Knowledge: Possess excellent working knowledge of food safety standards including BRC, SQF, Halal, Coles, Aldi, HACCP.
  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Project Management: Possess project management capability.
  • Coaching and Training: Have effective coaching and training skills.
  • CRM and Database: Possess well-developed CRM and database skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Be a proactive problem solver with a real passion for food safety and compliance.

Salary Package: Competitive salary $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits including relocation assistance and salary packaging options.
