Procurement Specialist

**Procurement Expert**: A skilled procurement expert is required to partner with a mining organisation to coordinate and process purchase orders accurately and promptly. This includes obtaining quotes, managing suppliers and logistics providers, and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has great communication skills, and can maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
- Coordinate and process purchase orders within SAP accurately and promptly
- Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers on the supply of goods
- Manage suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery
- Assist in identifying and resolving invoicing discrepancies and supplier performance concerns
- Conduct supplier onboarding processes ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communication
The successful candidate will require demonstrated experience in a purchasing, buying or procurement position, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
