About the Role

Thiess Iron Bridge is seeking a skilled Drill Fitter to join our Field Maintenance team, working a 14/7 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of Epiroc D65 and CAT MD6310 drills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and servicing of rotary Blast Hole Drill Rigs and Heavy Mining equipment
  • Sourcing technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM, and computer-based systems
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards at all times

About You

  • Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving ability, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Post-trade experience working on Blast Hole Drill Rigs
  • Commitment to safety
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
