Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Building Fire Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Fire Services Compliance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building development approvals, regulations, Australian standards, and QFES policy requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate the building approval process of technical and engineering submissions and analyse their application to ensure proposals are relevant and accurate.
- Evaluate plans and specifications for compliance with referral jurisdiction, regulations, Australian standards, codes and QFES policy requirements including assessment of proposed performance based solutions in relation to Community Safety compliance.
- Inspect building special fire services for compliance with building development approvals, regulations, Australian standards, QFES policy requirements and engineering design solutions.
- Eligible to apply for, or hold a current Blue Card.
- Manual Medium Rigid (MRV) driver's licence as recognised by the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
- Possess Building Fire Safety Level 3 qualifications or current equivalent.
$107,074.15 - $113,016.89 per annum.
