Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Backup Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily backup and recovery tasks across diverse environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backup-related issues to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Maintain documentation of backup configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backup and recovery solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Commvault software suite.
  • Strong understanding of storage systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.
  • Experience in designing and implementing backup architectures in hybrid or multi-cloud setups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to service improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
