Role Overview
This exciting opportunity will see you join our team as a Residential Care Worker, working closely with clients in various settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres, and emergency accommodation. As a key influencer in your clients' lives, you will provide direct care, develop relationships, and implement structured routines tailored to their needs.
- Your Key Responsibilities:
- Building meaningful relationships with clients and providing around-the-clock care following a tailored routine.
- Administering medication and transporting clients to appointments and activities.
- Assisting in program implementation designed for client development and progress.
- Maintaining accurate records through report writing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or a recognised relevant qualification.
- Awareness of mandatory units: CHCMHS007 – Work effectively in trauma-informed care, CHCPRT009 – Provide primary residential care, and CHCCCS009 – Facilitate responsible behaviour.
We can facilitate the attainment of these units within the first three months of employment if needed. Additionally, we offer comprehensive support and training to ensure your success in this role.
