At Tyro Payments Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled Security Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining security controls for our systems, aligned with our security strategy to protect our data, applications, and infrastructure from emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic, operational, and tactical guidance to your team and manage day-to-day security operational activities.
- Drive and own conversations with technical and business stakeholders on ensuring Tyro is able to deliver on its strategy and commitment to stakeholders.
- End-to-end deployment and management of enterprise class security services for our customer and corporate environments in the cloud and on-premise.
- Operating centralized security controls that are highly efficient through automation and provide self-service solutions to other technology teams.
- Subject Matter Expert and advanced technical support for issues related to the systems you help build and deploy.
- Leadership abilities to develop, manage, and drive a high-performing team.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to develop and implement security capabilities across various business functions.
- Ability to prioritize and make risk-based decisions in day-to-day activities.
- Coding/scripting skills in Powershell, Bash, Python, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with securing a hybrid cloud environment, with a mixture of on-premise, multi-cloud providers, and container platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation in some of the following domains: Endpoint Security, Zero Trust Network Access, Cloud Security Posture Management, Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management.
