Job Title: Chief Financial Operations Manager



The Role:


In this pivotal contract opportunity, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while supporting the business through a dynamic period.


This position requires an experienced professional who is immediately available and ready to contribute from day one.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Statutory Reporting: Assist with statutory reporting and liaise with auditors during the audit process.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support: Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  • Financial Insights: Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.


About You:


To excel in this role, you will need:



  • CPA/CA Qualification: CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multinational or large corporate environment.
  • Australian Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and IFRS.
  • ERP Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Availability: Availability to start immediately and commit to the contract duration.
