We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Residential Care. The role will cover our Erina and Woy Woy sites, providing opportunities for flexible hours and location based on candidate preference.
About the RoleThis is a part-time opportunity available, offering autonomy to work with residents to achieve the best care outcomes while being part of a broader team of in-house Allied Health professionals working alongside frontline teams.
- You will provide effective and timely occupational therapy to residents and offer support and advice to their representatives and the HammondCare team to meet individual needs and preferences.
- You will collaborate closely with residents, their representatives, staff, and the Allied Health Team to assess functional care needs, set care goals, and deliver resident-centred treatment and interventions.
- You will contribute to quality improvement projects and participate in continuing professional development within the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for championing quality of life for residents at Erina and Woy Woy, working in an environment that reduces excess disability and promotes meaningful engagement in life.
Requirements- You must have a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- You must have practical experience or sound knowledge in Aged Care.
- You must have effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on experience.
