About the Role

We are seeking a casual Support Worker Home Help to join our team in Cockburn and surrounding areas. The purpose of this role is to connect customers with their local team and provide domestic assistance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to customers with daily living tasks and activities
  • Assist customers with accessing community resources and services
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve customer outcomes
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and carers
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with seniors and those living with disability is desirable but not essential
  • Great communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
  • Enthusiastic and engaging approach to customer interactions
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and privacy and confidentiality issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prerequisites
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Western Australian Drivers Licence
  • Your own vehicle
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency
