Finance Transformation Specialist

A finance transformation specialist is required to lead the testing of large-scale finance systems. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in functional testing and a deep understanding of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for finance modules, incorporating functional finance knowledge and business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify defects and ensure solutions are robust and fit-for-purpose.
- Mentor the testing team and drive improvements in testing processes through embedding best practices.
- Functional Finance Knowledge: Proven expertise in testing and implementation of major finance systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Financial Principles: Solid understanding of core accounting principles and regulatory reporting.
- Testing Tools: Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, SharePoint, and Confluence for test and defect management.
- Lifecycle Management: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A collaborative environment that prioritises innovation, collaboration, and purposeful work will be provided.
Qualifications- Large-Scale Finance Systems: Experience in implementing and testing finance systems, particularly in the Source to Pay, Record to Report, and Acquire to Retire processes.
- ERP Systems: Prior experience with Oracle Fusion or an equivalent enterprise-level finance ERP solution.
- Test Design: Proficiency in designing and creating detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts aligned with business requirements.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Ability to lead testing activities, mentor team members, and drive improvements in testing processes.
