Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress) is seeking an experienced and dedicated doctor to join our multidisciplinary team at the Alice Springs Youth Detention Centre.

We are committed to delivering comprehensive and holistic care to young people in detention, and this role will be instrumental in achieving that goal.

This part-time position (0.5 FTE) offers a unique opportunity to work with a newly established therapeutic team and become part of the GP community within Congress.

The successful candidate will provide culturally safe GP services within a comprehensive primary health care framework, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

About the role

The General Practitioner (GP) will be responsible for providing GP services to young people in detention, as well as contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering culturally safe care and a commitment to working collaboratively with our team.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
