Job Title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of a Heavy Diesel Mechanic at our mine site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet, which includes CAT 789 trucks, 773 service trucks, 992 loaders, and D11 dozers.

  • Maintain and repair heavy diesel engines, performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, applying technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems efficiently.
  • Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitting or equivalent, with experience in mine site and mobile plant maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and Standard 11.
  • Able to pass a medical and police check.
