Job Title: Security Technician

Security technicians install, commission and service security and access control systems. They diagnose faults on site, repair or replace equipment/cabling and manage customer relations.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning and servicing of security and access control systems
  • Diagnosing faults on site by repairing or replacing equipment/cabling
  • Managing and maintaining existing and new customers
  • Providing support and training to other staff if needed

Desirable Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience with security hardware including inner range - Integriti & Inception, Tecom Challenger, Bosch, IT networks and Data installations
  • Valid WA Driver's License
  • WA Security License
  • ACMA Registration
  • Construction Industry Blue/White Card
  • EWP & SWH (advantage but not essential)
  • Certificate III in Telecommunications (advantage but not essential)
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Fully vaccinated (working in health & aged care requirement)
