Position Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direction of the Depot Manager and/or a licensed Depot Pharmacist. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of all processes related to stored materials, including reception, storage, shipment, return, and destruction, in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and authorize operational tasks under the supervision of a licensed Depot Pharmacist.
- Release shipments for distribution, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all protocols at the Depot to guide Depot Staff effectively.
- Serve as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when necessary, assisting with depot operations in line with local regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements set by the relevant health authorities.
- Maintain compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, and FDA Good Clinical Practices, as well as local regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Follow World Courier Standard Operating Procedures to manage daily depot activities from product reception to shipment.
- Conduct periodic self-inspections of the depot to ensure operational standards are met.
- Identify and report any personnel management issues that may disrupt the working schedule.
- Perform additional duties as trained and required.
Qualifications
A diploma and/or relevant training in pharmaceutical services is essential for this role, in accordance with local regulations. Previous experience in warehousing or dispensing is preferred.
