Academic Mathematician

The Role

This is a permanent full-time position as part of the Department of Education. The successful applicant should be able to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment, be flexible and adaptive, and apply differentiated instruction and explicit teaching strategies.

The role may include incorporating current and emerging technologies to meet student needs based on evidence-based practice. The applicant should possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner.

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Provide instructional support to students in a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
