Based in the heart of the mining and manufacturing hub of Pinkenba, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to join our team and contribute to our success.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced maintenance professional to join our team as a Maintenance Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Completing planned and reactive maintenance on workshop machinery and plant
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to and carried out in line with regulatory, manufacturer, and lease requirements
  • Working with third-party contractors to support the health and utilization of machines
  • Collaborating with workshop leaders to minimize machine downtime and optimize machine utilization
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Trade qualifications in a relevant field
  • Experience in maintenance of machinery and fixed and mobile plant, with manual lathe and CNC skills desirable
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to industry-standard safety procedures
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
