Our Behaviour Support Practitioners are skilled professionals who play a vital role in helping individuals with complex behavioural challenges achieve their goals.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will utilise your assessment and intervention skills to develop and implement behaviour support plans that maximise NDIS funding for our participants. You will build meaningful relationships with our participants and their support networks, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing behaviour support plans with function-based strategies using the positive behaviour support framework.
- Conducting functional behaviour assessments (FBAs).
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will need to have:
- Extensive experience working with individuals with complex behavioural challenges.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
