Job Title: Network Security Expert

This role entails Level 3 escalations handling and organising vulnerability and maintenance windows. It requires intermediate to professional knowledge in coding/scripting to support network automation platform, scripting for database queries, bolstering the databases housing network telemetry and status information.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in scripting, data management, DevOps tools and network security. They should be able to identify, analyse and manage risk at every aspect of work, secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.

  • Key duties:
    • Installation, configuration and upgrade hardware, systems and software for networks.
    • Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement to optimise performance.
    • Provide technical consultation to business/technology stakeholders to support relevant infrastructure partners and other business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Programming skills in Python scripting/coding (Intermediate)
  • DevOps tools Skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
  • Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges.
  • Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
