Preanalytical Team Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead our Preanalytical Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate department operations, incoming work, and provide feedback to promote efficient delivery and processing of pathology specimens.
  • Effectively supervise the team to ensure compliance with procedures and integrate improvements where necessary.
  • Provide training to new staff members and assist in ongoing competency development.
  • Comply with occupational health and safety policies.
  • Adhere to quality standards by following Corporate Quality System Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with the Gold Coast region is desirable.
  • Proven experience in diagnostic pathology laboratories.
  • Qualifications in Laboratory Techniques, Healthcare, or Science are desirable but not essential.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality work and customer service.
  • Self-motivation with a high attention to detail and ability to be flexible.
