Daytime Cleaning Assistant

Clean and maintain a retail environment to high standards.

  • Undertake general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
  • Ensure public spaces, meal rooms, offices and bathrooms are sanitised and disinfected.
  • Use chemicals to sanitise and disinfect areas.
  • Manually handle equipment and supplies.
  • Operate machinery such as buffers, high-pressure washers, scrubbers and floor sweepers.
  • Removal of rubbish and recyclables.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with colleagues.

The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the site

- Adhering to hygiene policies and procedures

- Managing waste disposal and recycling

- Maintaining good communication skills and relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with a solid understanding of cleaning and hygiene practices who can work well in a team environment.

Requirements

- No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training provided

- Ability to work a variety of shifts across seven days

- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments
