Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within the facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transporting materials, products or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility.
  • Loading and unloading goods on a wrapping machine.
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  • Checking loads are secure.
  • Stacking empty pallets.
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment.
  • Removing waste wraps or material from pallets.
  • Examining empty pallets to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Dumping waste wraps or materials into waste collection bags.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within a factory environment.
  • Must hold a valid Work Safe Forklift licence.
  • Prior experience with the use of a Forklift.
