Houseperson

The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale, New South Wales, Australia is seeking a part-time Houseperson to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent housekeeping skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas, as well as ensuring that all amenities are delivered promptly to guests.

Responsibilities
  • General housekeeping of rooms and public areas
  • Cleaning public areas such as hotel foyer, lift, stairways & corridors
  • Stocking and maintaining storerooms
  • Delivering required guest amenities and requests to guest rooms
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Possession of a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
