The Case Worker is an integral member of the Welfare and Engagement Team ensuring overall operational excellence is achieved. We are focused on providing quality services and support that provide people with skills, confidence, and opportunities to proactively maintain their health and wellbeing.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. Qualifications to at least diploma or bachelor's degree in Social Work, Case Management, Psychology, Counselling, Social Sciences, Behavioural Science, Community Services or similar human services field
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering case management, counselling or similar support for vulnerable adults or families (highly desirable)
  3. Experience working in a trauma-informed manner to support people experiencing complex health and mental health challenges
  4. Well-developed negotiation, influencing and motivational skills
  5. Strong leadership, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
  6. Maintain a current Working with Children Certificate in accordance with the relevant state or territory child protection legislation
  7. Hold and maintain HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificates with at least 6 months of currency on the certificate
  8. Unrestricted current Drivers Licence

You have a professional and friendly manner as well as the ability to effectively navigate internal and external stakeholder relationships within a complex and dynamic environment. You successfully manage and ensure satisfaction of all stakeholders including the people in detention.
