You will also attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required, properly maintain materials, tools and equipment, and strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.

Key responsibilities include:

* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.

About you:

* Experience in fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
