Job Overview:

At Calvary, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team at Calvary Vonlea Manor in Norlane VIC.

We offer a competitive salary package of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

The Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents. This includes coordinating care needs, supervising and leading care teams, and promoting a culture of dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and emotional support to all residents, ensuring holistic and person-centered care.
  • Support the coordination of care needs, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Lead/supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, and Calvary policies.

About You:

  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines).
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and to learn new skills as required.
  • Current National police check and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
