Plant Transformation Services Leader

This position will lead a team of experts in plant synthetic biology services. The role will be responsible for managing transformation projects, implementing and streamlining organisational processes, and liaising with staff to ensure facilities run efficiently.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or PhD in plant science, genetics, physiology or biotechnology. They will need to demonstrate evidence of successful execution of plant transformation projects, ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders, and highly developed workload management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transformation projects and lead a team of experts
  • Implement and streamline organisational processes
  • Liaise with staff to ensure facilities run efficiently
  • Collaborate with Innovation Officer to develop new service offerings
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or PhD in plant science, genetics, physiology or biotechnology
  • Evidence of successful execution of plant transformation projects
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Highly developed workload management skills
