Calleo Australia is seeking a Business Requirements Specialist to join one of our Federal clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technical and business teams to drive effective solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and data warehousing solutions, including design, development, and management.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills are essential for this role, including the ability to develop user stories, test cases, and maintain traceability matrices.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. User Story Development: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create user stories, produce and maintain scenarios that demonstrate the required business process outcomes.
  2. Test Case Development: Develop and execute test cases to validate that requirements are met and that systems function as expected.
  3. Traceability Management: Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, manage expectations, define and document business requirements.
  5. Documentation: Document and agree on courses of action, ensuring all decisions and steps are clearly recorded.
  6. Progress Visualization: Develop visual tools to track and communicate project progress, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  7. Business Process Flows: Create and maintain business process flow diagrams to provide clear and accurate representations of workflows.
  8. Produce Business Requirements: Guide the derived Functional and Non-Functional requirements for System of System integration for Enterprise Systems.
  9. Monitor changes in business processes and systems which impact existing requirements.
  10. Track Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies and interdependencies between extant projects and programs, as they relate to Business Requirements.
  11. Identify requirement gaps and issues during project activities and escalate as required.
