A Future-Focused Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated service engineer to join our team. As a service engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering technical solutions to our clients.

The position is based in Tasmania and involves working with a variety of industrial systems, including Experion PMD, TPA, QCS, and Uniformance. You will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients, as well as implementing projects using Honeywell tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Delivery: Provide preventative and remedial maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance of control systems.
  • Project Implementation: Design and implement projects using Honeywell tools and processes to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintenance and Installation: Maintain, install, and service DCS/SCADA packages and other software in the MES layer.
  • Industrial Control Equipment: Maintain, install, and service industrial control equipment on various industrial sites.
  • Customer Reporting: Provide regular reporting to customers on project progress and completion.
  • Acceptance Testing: Conduct customer acceptance testing and final commissioning of systems on site.
  • Process Compliance: Comply with Honeywell engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Liaison and Reporting: Internal and external liaison with service and project teams, including service and project progress reporting.
  • Sales and Service Opportunities: Identify and act upon sales and service opportunities.
  • Timely Response: Respond to customer call-outs in a timely manner.
  • Customer Site Attendance: Attend customer site on request and respond to needs.

Requirements:

  • PC Skills: Exceptional PC skills are required for this role.
  • Software Maintenance: Experience with software maintenance and development is essential.
  • Degree Qualifications: A degree qualification in an engineering discipline is required.
  • Instrumentation Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control equipment is necessary.
  • Financial Acumen: Good understanding of the financial aspects of engineering is required.
  • Driver's License: A valid unrestricted driver's license is mandatory.
