Job Description

The role of a Maintenance Fitter is to support and enhance the performance of job changes and maintenance, inspecting, repairing and palletising over several independent section glass manufacturing machines while ensuring safety and quality.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, including the ability to inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all equipment as required.

Maintenance tasks will include lubrication, inspections, testing, equipment exchange and overhaul.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement isolation's as required to conduct maintenance and repairs
  • Respond to breakdowns
  • Partake in daily job changes
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified - maintenance fitter with experience in fault finding automated machinery
  • Pneumatic Experience
  • Manual arc welding experience
  • Forklift license & Front End loader advantageous
About the Role

The Maintenance Fitter will work independently to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.
