We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intensive Care Unit Registrar to join our team at JPS Medical Recruitment.
About the RoleThe ICU Registrar will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our tertiary-level Intensive Care Unit, which admits over 2500 patients per year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced Staff Specialists and participate in a structured teaching program tailored to meet the individual needs of advanced trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Be registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Have completed three years of post-graduate medical experience
- Currency in an Advanced Life Support Course (if not at the time of appointment, to be attained within 3 months of commencement)
- Ability to rotate to regional units to satisfy College requirements
