Bakery Operations Manager Position

Job Title: Bakery Assistant Manager
">We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our bakery team as a key member. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing a small team, creating efficient work schedules, generating orders, and conducting regular stock takes.
">About the Role:
">The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment, with excellent leadership and communication skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team, build strong relationships with colleagues, and maintain high standards of customer service and product quality.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage a small team of bakers to ensure efficient operations
- Develop and implement effective rotas to maximize productivity
- Generate and place orders for bakery supplies to meet customer demand
- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Develop and implement merchandising plans to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
- Maintain high standards of customer service and product quality at all times
- Work collaboratively with the Bakery Manager to achieve business goals
Requirements:
">- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Basic knowledge of financial management and cost control principles
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
