Cloud Architect Position

The primary role of the Cloud Architect is to design and develop scalable cloud-based solutions for organizational applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure, utilizing best practices for efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Bash templates to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of services.
  • Automate routine tasks like infrastructure scaling and system configuration to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Implement robust security measures across the cloud infrastructure to protect against potential threats.
  • Support incident management, disaster recovery, and service monitoring initiatives to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably on Azure.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer Associate.
