Key Role: Mechanical Tradesperson
We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing plant items, including light and heavy vehicles and mechanical equipment.
- Performing routine and complex labouring and manual tasks, including the use of various small plant and powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Conducting safety checks on all plant used and maintaining records and reports to ensure safe use.
- Solving routine problems and referring to standard guidelines and manuals as needed.
Requirements:
- Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanical trade or Plant Mechanical trade qualification.
- Ambitious, collaborative, and qualified mechanical tradesperson with good problem-solving skills and fault diagnosis skills.
- Strong focus on safety and ability to identify, communicate, and report environmental hazards in the workplace.
