About the Company:

This Australian civil contracting company specializes in remote earthworks, concrete, and civil infrastructure projects within the mining, energy, and industrial sectors. They are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to lead a new large-scale insitu concrete project in Western Australia.

About the Role:

This permanent Senior Project Manager position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills and experience in managing remote FIFO projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety, cost, time, and quality, while managing the client interface and leading a cohesive project team. This role will appeal to a proven Senior Project Manager from a strong civil contracting background within the industrial construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 60+ construction professionals
  • Manage client interface and ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure safety, cost, time, and quality
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules
  • Manage project budgets and forecasts

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience as Project Manager in construction of large insitu concrete construction projects worth $30M+ in Australia
  • Previous FIFO experience preferred on remote industrial/civil construction projects working for Civil Contractors
  • Proven ability to lead large project teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commercially savvy with excellent forecasting and reporting ability
  • Positive attitude and willingness to embrace a FIFO role
  • Existing rights to live and work in Australia
  • Clean C Class WA Driver's License
