About the role
McConnell Dowell Constructors is seeking a skilled Rail Track Machine Technician to join their team in Sunshine, Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing rail track machines, working night shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing and maintaining a set of rail track machines.
- Night Shift duties required.
- Creating fault reports on McConnell Dowell systems and following up with diagnosis and parts required.
- Taking responsibility of servicing schedules and windows of opportunity to complete services.
- Ongoing repairs and routine preventative maintenance are required.
- Ensuring the required tool kit is carried.
- Conducting installations and/or repairs when required.
About you
- Relevant tickets and licences as required.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical fault finding is preferred.
- White card required.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently and in a team.
- Can communicate clearly and concisely.
