About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Engineering Director to lead our Customer, Entitlements, and Connectivity Platform teams. As a key member of our digital bank's leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy and direction of our platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers and business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy for our Customer, Entitlements, and Connectivity Platforms, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical solutions.
  • Design, implement, and operate mission-critical, large-scale applications and platforms, leveraging cloud technologies such as SaaS, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Develop and execute platform strategies, manage complex engineering initiatives, and optimize resources to drive business value.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging lateral thinking and early risk escalation, while taking a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading software engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Java and open-source technologies, with experience in designing, implementing, and operating large-scale applications and platforms.
  • Strong experience in cloud-based technologies, including SaaS, AWS, and Google Cloud, with experience in managing and optimizing infrastructure.
  • Ability to develop and execute platform strategies, manage complex engineering initiatives, and optimize resources.
  • Collaborative and communicative leader, able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passionate about building and managing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing platforms using agile methodologies.
