HR Truck Operator - Morning Shift

Our client, a prominent international manufacturing and distribution company, is currently seeking skilled HR TRUCK OPERATORS with Forklift certifications to become part of their expanding workforce.

This role is designated for the Morning shift, with workdays from Monday to Friday, including opportunities for overtime as needed.

Shifts will commence between 5am and 6am.

The compensation for this position is set at $38 per hour, with additional overtime pay.

For candidates seeking stability and long-term employment, this role may transition from temporary to permanent for successful individuals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proficient operation of counterbalance forklifts up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Delivering board products in various dimensions, which are not palletized
  • Utilizing trucks equipped with load binders and manual straps
  • Performing the majority of deliveries using fork-on and off methods
  • Executing general pick and pack tasks
  • Assisting with various warehouse duties as required

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Experience handling long loads
  • A valid HR Truck License and Forklift License are essential
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating both Truck and Forklift
  • Experience in a similar capacity is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A solid understanding of fatigue management
  • Knowledge of load restraints
  • Familiarity with Chain of Responsibility (COR)
  • Good knowledge of the Sydney Metro area
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Availability for Monday to Friday afternoon shifts
  • Flexibility to work weekend shifts when necessary
  • Immediate availability
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 25kgs when required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Effective communication skills
