We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the West region. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and young people with a disability to help them achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to maximise a person's functional skills and participation.
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Providing indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. If you have a passion for working with children and young people with a disability, and are committed to providing high-quality care, we would love to hear from you.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Willingness to improve on your clinical practice and develop clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with.
- Care for the work you do and for the people you work with.
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapy).
- Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across Western Melbourne region, as required.
