About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our team as an ICT Infrastructure Strategist, responsible for managing and maintaining the network services infrastructure.

This role involves leading a cross-functional team, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network technologies, including Cisco systems, and experience in contemporary network design and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for network services delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead research activities to identify current and future product enhancements, consulting with stakeholders to define customer needs and maximize return on investment.
  • Design and implement tests to validate services against design specifications, embedding a service management culture within the wider team.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with the service, and develop remediation initiatives.
  • Manage and monitor change to continuously improve the platform offering and processes, providing recommendations to enhance results.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years' experience managing and leading network service delivery teams.
  • An industry certification in one or more leading network technologies (ideally Cisco).
  • An ICT degree with relevant specializations.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
