As an experienced medical oncology professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art oncology infusion centre, providing expert clinical care, education, and support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met during cancer treatment
- Offering education and support for patients and their families
- Delivering cancer treatment and supportive medication administration according to prescribed protocols
- Facilitating effective communication between medical officers, patient services staff, and other nursing team members
- Providing feedback to the team and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Medical oncology and chemotherapy administration experience in a clinical setting with 3 years' experience
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy for patients
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles
- Strong commitment to quality patient care
- Interest in continuing professional development
