The role of a Football Field Umpire is to officiate matches with impartiality and integrity.

Job Details

Melbourne Sports Institute seeks enthusiastic individuals to join their team for Inter School Sport Competition in Term 2 & 3.

We are currently recruiting Field Umpires to work with client schools located in various suburbs across Melbourne.

Matches are played throughout May - September, on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons between 1:00pm - 2:30pm.

Apart from the specified term dates, there may be opportunities for further umpiring throughout the year.

Key Requirements:

  • Possess a Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Deep understanding of football (AFL)
  • Significant experience in playing, coaching or umpiring the sport

Preferred Experience:

  • Umpiring: 1 year
  • Work Authorisation: Australia

Benefits:

This role involves casual work, paid fortnightly. As a Football Field Umpire, you will gain valuable experience in sports officiating, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of the competition.

Applicants must meet the specified requirements and possess the necessary qualifications to be considered for this position.

Please note that all applicants will be required to undergo a screening process before being appointed as a Field Umpire.
