We seek a skilled Strata Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the underwriting team, you will play a vital role in evaluating and managing strata risk.
- Evaluate insurance risks for new clients and determine acceptance terms.
- Develop relationships with partners to understand their values, needs, and strategies.
- Process underwriting transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile new business and renewal policy accounts.
- Prepare policy information.
- Support other team members and business units where requested.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain sound underwriting practices and adhere to procedures in the Underwriting Manual.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
This is a mid-senior level, full-time opportunity that requires strong analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with the SUU Claims and Underwriting teams to ensure high service standards and create a reporting framework for business development.
Requirements- Solid knowledge of Strata Titled property.
- Hands-on experience as an Underwriter.
- Comprehensive product knowledge in the strata space.
- Ability to interpret plans of subdivision and strata plans.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Results oriented with a sales and growth mindset.
