Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Care Workers to join our team in the Newcastle area, providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, enhancing our customers' quality of life.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

Requirements
  • At least 6 months' work experience as a support or care worker, including experience with personal care skills.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel for work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on customer satisfaction and well-being.
