We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to fire and emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities.
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular training and drills.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment.
- Contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
- Ability to commit to attending 50% of calls as a day worker or 30% of calls as a shift worker.
- Ability to attend 75% of regular drill and training sessions.
As an Auxiliary Firefighter with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in our community.
