Job Title: Platform Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist

Expertech is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Platform Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code cutting-edge technologies.
  • Ensure cloud and on-premises infrastructure are properly patched, monitored, and maintained.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in system performance, cost, capacity, and reliability.
  • Automate routine tasks, such as environment provisioning, testing, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Build and maintain high availability systems through automation and self-service to application and business teams.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, including configuration support manuals as the environment evolves.
  • Ensure our platform is secure by design, implementing security best practices and conducting regular audits.
  • Develop and optimize continuous integration and deployment processes.
Requirements:
  • Automation and self-service (IaC) experience.
  • Public Cloud (Azure) experience.
  • Private Cloud/Hybrid Edge experience.
  • Basic Networking knowledge.
  • Active Directory and Entra ID experience.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps and SRE principles.
  • VMWare experience, including vCentre and ESXi.
  • Veeam backup and orchestration experience.
  • Microsoft Exchange and O365 experience.
  • HPE hardware experience, including Alletra, Apollo, blade servers, and StoreOnce.
  • Dell Open Manager experience.
  • Zscaler experience (a bonus).
  • Azure virtual desktop experience.
  • Windows and Linux experience.
