Imagery Specialist Role

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join the Australian Army Reserve as an Imagery Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and delivering high-quality visual content.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional photography and videography skills, with the ability to work quickly under pressure and meet deadlines. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide training and guidance to others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capturing professional quality photos and videos of ADF operations, training exercises, international engagement, and other activities.
  • Quickly processing and uploading imagery to meet news media deadlines.
  • Editing short and engaging videos for social media platforms.
  • Providing photography and videography training to ADF members and military personnel from other countries.
  • Advising Public Affairs Officers and commanders on opportunities and requirements for capturing newsworthy imagery.
