Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Information Access Manager to join our Corporate Information Services team. This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extension and/or permanency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing access to information across the Education system, ensuring the quality, accessibility, reliability and security of information. This includes provision of records management, system administration, Freedom of Information (FOI) and legal disclosure of information, as well as Library and switchboard services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access to information across the Education system
  • Evaluate and implement information access policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on information access matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records management systems
  • Administer systems to ensure reliable and secure access to information

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in information access management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
