The RoleWe are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Head office in Perth. Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Management team in preparing accurate estimates with a primary focus on executing tenders.
- Leading and supporting bids from concept to completion.
- Ensuring timely tender management for senior management review.
- Positively managing relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Exploring creative value engineering opportunities.
- Mentoring and sharing experience with junior team members.
- Assisting in developing tender strategies and managing tender deliverables.
- Identifying risks and ensuring all risks are recorded and accounted for within the tender.
- Ensuring tender submissions meet closure deadlines and are in the required format.
- Managing post-tender correspondence and responding to queries under the approval of the Pre-Contracts Manager.
- Supporting the Pre-Contracts Manager and Commercial Manager in negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
